Three steps. Ten seconds. Instant clarity.
No blood tests. No breathalyzers. Just your voice.
Record your voice
Tap the mic and speak naturally for a few seconds — or upload an existing audio file. No script, no special words needed.
AI analyzes your speech
Five specialized models scan your vocal patterns — timing, rhythm, mel spectrogram, and more — then vote on your state as an ensemble.
Review your result
Get an instant classification — Sober, Intoxicated, or Inconclusive — along with a confidence score and a per-model breakdown stored in your history.
Built for real awareness, not false certainty.
Ensemble AI verdict
Five models vote independently — CNN, CNN+GRU, Pause Rhythm, Mel Instability, and Vocal Biomarker — so you get a consensus, not a single guess.
Results in seconds
From tap to result in under 10 seconds. No waiting, no upload queues, no account setup hoops — just immediate insight.
Private by design
Recordings are processed server-side and linked only to your account. Your history is yours — no third-party data sharing.
Full history dashboard
Every check is logged with timestamp, confidence score, and model breakdown. Track trends, filter by state, and see your pattern at a glance.
Confidence & validation
Results show a confidence percentage and a validated flag — flagging when models disagree so you always know how much to trust the output.
Upload or record
Use your mic directly in the browser, or upload an existing audio file in any common format — WebM, MP3, WAV, M4A, and more.
One tool. Many reasons to care.

Common questions, straight answers.
Is this a medical device or legal tool?
No. VocalMetric is an experimental self-awareness tool. It is not a substitute for a breathalyzer, medical evaluation, or legal determination. Never rely on it to make safety-critical decisions on its own.
Do you store my voice recordings?
Audio files are stored on-server and linked to your account for processing. The classification result, confidence score, and duration are logged to your history. You can review your full check history in your dashboard.
How accurate is the analysis?
VocalMetric is a research prototype. The ensemble of five AI models improves robustness compared to a single model, and a confidence score and validation flag tell you when to trust the result less. It should be treated as a supporting signal, not a definitive answer.
What audio quality do I need?
Speak for at least 2–4 seconds in a reasonably quiet environment. The system will flag recordings that are too short, too quiet, clipped, or mostly silent so you can re-record.
Can I upload a file instead of using the mic?
Yes. The dashboard has a file upload button that accepts common audio formats (WebM, MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, and more). The file is converted to 16 kHz mono WAV before analysis.
How many free checks do I get?
Every account starts with 10 free voice checks. Your dashboard shows how many you have remaining. We're working on expanded plans for heavier use.
